Changelog

Every version of the bot since January, and the Polymarket changes behind them. 10 releases so far, each one free for owners.

Notice

Polymarket US changed maker rebates. Nothing changes here.

Polymarket US, the separate CFTC-regulated exchange for US customers, ended its extra 17% weekly crypto maker rebate on October 15. Since October 19 it pays maker rebates in tiers based on last month's maker volume, with nothing below $10M. The bot trades on polymarket.com, the main exchange, where maker terms stayed the same, so v2.0.0 remains the current build.

What it means for you
  • On polymarket.com, maker orders still pay no fee, and crypto markets still return 20% of each market's taker fees to the makers filled there, every day. Our own bot wallet was paid as usual on October 20 and 21.
  • Taker fees are unchanged, and so is the 150 ms taker delay on crypto markets that began on September 4.
  • The bot never connects to Polymarket US: that exchange has separate accounts, keys and an order API of its own.

Moved to Polymarket Data API v2

Polymarket switches off its original Data API on October 24, 2026. The bot used it to read its own positions, portfolio value and trades, so every one of those calls now goes through Data API v2. Install this build before the 24th: after that date, older versions lose sight of their own positions and stop placing new live orders. No new packages, and your .env stays as it is.

New
  • One small client now handles every Data API v2 call: the new response format, field names, filters and page-by-page loading.
Improved
  • Position checks look only at the windows being traded right now, so a wallet with hundreds of old positions can't crowd out the current ones. Verified against v1 on a live wallet: identical shares and spend in every market.
  • Auto-redeem handles up to 100 positions per run, most valuable first, so winnings are collected before empty positions are cleared.
  • Practice portfolios always settle from their own simulated trades, even when a funding wallet is set.
  • The benchmark tools use the new paging and field names. Snapshots saved by an older version need downloading again.
Fixed
  • Live settlement books cost and payout from your wallet's real fills, taker fees included, so the daily loss cap now works from your true realized profit.
  • The position sync line in live logs no longer always reads zero.
  • Benchmark downloads keep both fills when two identical ones land in the same transaction.

Pro

Pro: we install it, you watch it

A second plan at $999 for traders who'd rather have the bot set up and monitored for them. It includes everything in Full Source Code, plus a private dashboard we install on your own server during setup, so your key never leaves your machine. The dashboard can stop a bot; it can't move funds.

New
  • Dashboard with live profit, win rate and volume per bot, a filterable trade log with CSV export, and a live view of the windows each bot is in.
  • Health view: check-ins, order book and API latency, accepted orders, clock drift, server load and wallet balance.
  • Telegram alerts when a bot goes quiet, plus loss cap, exposure, daily summary and new-version alerts.
  • Kill switch on your phone: it cancels open orders and stops the bot. Restarting happens on your server.
  • Installation over screen share, a 1-on-1 onboarding call and 60 days of priority support.
Improved
  • The pricing page now has two one-time plans: Full Source Code at $499 and Pro at $999.

Support for Chainlink TWAP settlement

Polymarket's 5- and 15-minute crypto Up or Down markets no longer settle on a single price snapshot. Since August 7, the opening and closing prices are both 60-second averages computed by Chainlink; the 5-minute markets moved from 30 to 60 seconds on August 14. This build supports the new rule on both window lengths. Results come straight from Polymarket and prices from the live order book, so no strategy changes were needed and your .env carries over.

settlement.txt
Up or Down settlement (5m, 15m)

                before the open
closing price average of the last
                60 s of the window
Up wins if close ≥ price to beat

Your .env: no changes
New
  • TWAP settlement on 5- and 15-minute markets: Up wins when the closing 60-second average is at or above the opening one, so the last second counts for one sixtieth of the close instead of all of it.
Improved
  • After a window closes, the bot takes the official outcome from Polymarket, so its ledger, CSV export and Telegram reports match what the market actually paid.
  • Orders keep pricing off the live order book, which already reflects the averaged close.
  • Pairs don't care how a market settles: Up and Down bought for under $1 together still pay $1 either way.

v1.7.0

CLOB v2, real-time quoting and live safety caps

Polymarket retired its original order API, so live orders now go through CLOB v2. A new real-time engine re-prices on every order book update instead of once per cycle, practice fills wait in a realistic queue, and live runs get hard caps that read positions straight from the exchange.

New
  • Live orders, cancels and sign-in go through Polymarket CLOB v2, since the old endpoint now rejects orders. Practice mode is unaffected.
  • Real-time engine: order books arrive by push and any change can trigger a re-quote, with a shadow mode that runs the whole live path but only logs its orders.
  • A daily loss cap that cancels every order, stops trading, alerts you on Telegram and stays in force after a restart, and an exposure cap that pauses new buys at your limit.
  • Hourly Telegram digest: profit, markets won and lost, and the average win and loss for each bot.
  • Benchmark tools that score your run against any public wallet on the same metrics.
Improved
  • Live stake caps read positions from the exchange every cycle and fail safe: if that read fails, nothing new is posted.
  • Practice fills follow the real order queue level by level, so paper results sit closer to live ones.
  • Support for both email and browser wallets, and order sizes round up to Polymarket's 5-share minimum.
Fixed
  • Every exchange call now has a network timeout. Before, one stalled connection could freeze a run for hours.
  • Closing your SSH session no longer stops a bot started in the foreground.
  • The engine subscribes to the next window before it opens, so its first seconds are never missed.
CLOB v2Real-timeRisk
v1.6.0

Start with a smaller balance

Makes it easier to begin with a modest account. One setting scales every position, the logs show what a cycle will risk before it does, and a balance that's too low skips a window instead of guessing.

New
  • One scale setting runs the same logic at a fraction of the default budget: start around $200 and grow later.
  • Each cycle logs its planned stake and remaining balance before any order goes out.
  • When the balance can't cover a window, the bot skips it and says why.
Improved
  • Budget settings are documented next to the scale setting.
  • The status endpoint shows the active scale.
Fixed
  • Scaled positions never round up past the balance you actually have.

v1.5.0

Built to run unattended

For leaving the bot on a VPS and forgetting about it: it rides out network blips, recovers from temporary failures by itself and keeps memory flat over days.

New
  • Automatic reconnect with backoff.
  • An example systemd service, so the bot comes back after a reboot or crash.
  • A heartbeat line every cycle, easy to check over SSH.
Improved
  • Flat memory use over multi-day runs.
  • The status endpoint adds uptime and the time of the last cycle.
Fixed
  • A stalled request can no longer freeze the loop.
  • Clean shutdown on restart, with no half-written portfolio file.
StabilityVPS
v1.4.0

Quicker starts, steadier bursts

Fewer API calls before the first cycle, and smoother behaviour when many orders go out at once.

New
  • Market data is fetched up front, so the first live cycle starts faster.
  • Leaner order submission when volume spikes.
Improved
  • Practice and live runs share one execution path, so their timings compare.
Fixed
  • Better handling of brief API errors during bursts.
Execution
v1.3.0

Settlement, CSV export and a profit ledger

Once short windows resolve, the bot pulls the official outcomes into its ledger, keeps a running profit log and exports rows for spreadsheets.

New
  • A one-command settlement pass.
  • A report command with CSV export and a text summary.
  • A manual settlement override for edge cases.
  • Rebuild the profit summary after editing the log by hand.
Improved
  • The portfolio file stays plain JSON you can back up or track in git.
Fixed
  • Sells can never exceed the logged position.
ReportingProfit
v1.2.0

More markets and end-of-window safety

More short crypto markets in rotation, separate defaults for 5- and 15-minute windows, and quoting that stops near the end of a window.

New
  • Several coins on the short windows.
  • Budget settings per window length.
  • A pause after each window opens and a wind-down before it closes.
  • Optional Telegram messages with your total realized profit.
  • An optional local status server for uptime monitors.
Improved
  • The bot stays in practice mode until you add keys and switch it to live.
MarketsTelegram
v1.1.0

Cleaner logs

Easier-to-read terminal output: clear cycle headers, no repeated idle lines and short, useful error messages. Trading logic is unchanged.

New
  • A cycle header with the time and the number of active markets.
  • Skip reasons grouped on one line.
Improved
  • Exchange timeouts show as one short message, and the next cycle retries.
Fixed
  • Windows consoles no longer garble non-ASCII log text.
Logs
v1.0.0

First release

The first build you can run end to end on your own machine. Keys stay optional until you add them, and it ships ready for short crypto windows.

New
  • An example .env file listing required and optional keys.
  • A single-cycle run for a quick test after install.
  • Pinned dependencies, so installs behave the same on macOS, Linux and WSL.
Improved
  • Settings and the main loop share one list of markets.
